Blackcomb Bike School!

Once you sign you contract and complete the additional form sent from Olivia, your onboarding will be initiated. Onboarding forms will be sent from peopleconnect@vailresorts.com with a link to sign onto epic employee and complete tasks. Please complete the tasks in Epic Employee when assigned to you. 

You will be assigned tasks to complete initially upon your job offer and then you will be assigned additional tasks to complete upon hiring approximately May 5th onwards. When your final tasks are available to complete you will receive an email with your Vail Resorts User ID and how to log in to SSO. 

If you have not received your Vail Resorts user ID email within two weeks of your start date, make sure to check your spam folder. If you are still unable to find the email please contact Lucie our hiring master at lbishop@vailresorts.com

When you have completed all onboarding tasks you will be able to check-in in person. New bike guides must wait until they have completed all tasks before checking in person. 

All new hires are in the process of receiving offers. You will receive an email from Olivia at Vail Resorts with your offer of employment. All offer letters through our bike guide posting will include Level 1 instructor and $20/hr for rate of pay. We will adjust job title and rate of pay accordingly when certifications and experience is submitted to WBSSPay at the beginning of season. 

Bike Passes will be able to be collected once you have completed all onboarding tasks. 

Please look out for an email (will be sent May 5th onwards) from peopleconnect@vailresorts.com with your Vail Resorts credentials and steps how to log onto epic employee as an active employee. If you have not received this email by May 11th please reach out to Lucie (lbishop@vailresorts.com). 
 
Once you have completed the final onboarding tasks, bike park passes can be collected from any PSS location between 10am-2pm. 
 
Part Time staff can pay for your dependent passes at that time. All Bike Park Waivers must be signed in person. 

Uniforms have arrived and are currently being sorted and organized at the Springs. Please stand by – we hope to have a disruption date in the next couple of weeks. We will send an update when the uniforms are ready for collection!

Whistler Community Services Society

Whether you’re new to Whistler or a local, Whistler has some amazing community resources. In addition to their thrift stores (the Re-Use-It & Re-Build-It Centres), Whistler Community Services Society (WCSS) offers a range of support from food security with their food bank, mental and emotions health support through an outreach program, drug testing kits and legal and financial support and advice. It’s OK not to be OK.

Housing

WB snow and bike school has an allocation of beds in our Employee Housing called HOUSE. 

Full time are able to apply for house, by filling out the application you are sent after you complete the New employee setup forms (link also below) 

Winter applications are open and you will create an account using your own personal email address. Please note we will do our best to provide housing but do have extremely limited availability. 

New hires will need to wait until they receive the peopleconnect@vailresorts.com email to go to epic employee before they can apply for housing.
