TEACHING IN APPROPRIATE TERRAIN

Using the terrain to your advantage can be a game changer in a lesson. Whether you need easy greens to develop a new skill or something harder to test out the skill in different ways.

Identifying Flow Zones and Slow Zones for Teaching

When it comes to teaching, certain areas on the mountain can be classified as flow zones/ slow zones. These locations are not suitable for instruction due to the high volume of people, which can pose safety risks for you and your group. Take a look at the photos below to identify where these zones are located.

Check out the official trail map from the Whistler Blackcomb website for lots of details or scroll bellow for a more zoomed in version of where the slow zones are located.
